Another week, another rejection. Apple rejected the free version because it contained a rent button that opened up our upsell page. According to apple we cannot advertise functionality that is not present in our application. We’ve updated the build and resubmitted our free version to apple. Still haven’t had any word on our paid version, hopefully that has not slipped in between the cracks.

You’d think Apple would give you a list of things needed to be done to be approved instead of just kicking it back without checking all things it isn’t happy with. It has to be frustrating for you.

Yeah, it is incredibly frustrating, but we’re not gonna give up. We’ll just roll with the punches

Any response to the paid app submission?

not yet. i have a feeling that the paid app approval is pending the free app approval. i think apple is planning on approving these at the same time since they are related–although that is just conjecture, apple really doesn’t let you in on their thought processes.

I hope you guys didn’t get lost in the shuffle with the few changes you had to make. Fingers crossed this is the week!
