Hi all,
I’m Hassan, the primary developer of Inside Redbox Mobile, and I just want to welcome everyone to our new website and give you a quick note where we are at in our development process. We are getting ready for a public beta test of our application. We have modified our enrollment with the Apple iPhone developer program and are waiting for Apple to finalize our enrollment so we can log back into the program portal and start setting up the provisioning profiles for all the beta testers. As soon as we get access back into our iPhone developer account (probably just a couple more days) we’ll start the ad hoc build for the beta testing.
We are tentatively expecting our app to go live within the iTunes App Store around the first half of March. I’ve been getting lots of queries around when the app will be available in the app store, so we’ll keep everyone posted on our progress from this blog.
I’ve gotta say this app is really shaping up to be pretty cool. We have teamed up with with the site http://insideredbox.com to offer a promo code feed so you can get free rentals, and we have all sorts of cool ideas that will be coming in subsequent releases of our app that will make it cooler than ever.
